A: An appointment is not required, however it is preferred. There are 2 ways to schedule an appointment:

A: The cost of an eye exam varies depending upon the type of exam (eyeglasses or contact lenses) and the state you live in. You can be assured that Cohen’s eye exam prices are extremely competitive.
Q: What does my eye exam include?
A: All comprehensive eye exams are performed by Doctors of Optometry. The exam not only determines your prescription, but it also aids the Doctor in detecting: high blood pressure, diabetes, and retinal and corneal disorders. The exam also includes cataract and glaucoma screening.
Q: Do I have to get an eye exam at Cohen’s to buy prescription eyewear?
A: As the eye exam is the most important element in fulfilling your eyewear needs, we prefer that a Cohen’s Doctor of Optometry examines your eyes. However, we will accept a current, valid prescription from a licensed Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.

A: Cohen’s locations accept most HMO, Union and major Insurance company vision plans. We recommend that you confirm your benefits and eligibility through your vision plan provider, or when you come into a Cohen’s store, an associate will assist you with it.
